2026 Ride MICHIGAN CHALLENGE

DEALERSHIP FAQs

Everything you need to know — how opt-in works, how customers compete, what they can win, and where to get support.

The Ride Michigan Challenge is a Michigan-specific promotion that runs alongside the national Let's Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes program. Customers opt in once through your dealership to be eligible for Michigan prizes — including a 2026 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide®. After that, all of their activity in the national Let's Ride Challenge program automatically counts toward their Michigan standing.

Think of Ride Michigan as the door. Let's Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes is where the competition happens.

It's a single, one-time step done at your dealership. The customer scans your QR code, selects Ride Michigan from the menu, completes the short opt-in form, and they're in. That's it.

If the customer is not yet registered in Let's Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes, that registration happens as part of the same QR code flow — they simply continue through those steps. If they're already registered in the national program, the Ride Michigan opt-in is all they need to do.

The Ride Michigan opt-in is a contest and must remain standalone. No keywords can be added to this opt-in, and it cannot be bundled with any other promotional effort.

Everything else happens inside the Let's Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes national program. Their miles, mileage validations, weekly keywords, and dealership visits all build their REV Score — and that score determines the Michigan prize winners at the end of the promotion period (April 10 – October 31, 2026).

Direct customers to h-dletsride.com for full program rules, FAQs, and everything they need to keep competing.

Customers must be legal residents of Michigan, and at least 18 years old at the time of registration. Any motorcycle — any make, any model — is eligible. Customers do not need to ride a Harley-Davidson to participate.

Anyone who has previously won a prize in a Let's Ride Challenge®, or Ride Michigan Challenge may participate but is not eligible to win a prize in this promotion.

The winner of the Grand Prize Motorcycle will also earn a $2000 in-store shopping spree if they have visited every participating Michigan Harley-Davidson dealership during the challenge.

Total ARV across all prizes: $35,999. Shopping sprees are valid toward H-D® service, parts, accessories, and MotorClothes only — not toward a new motorcycle purchase. Must be used within 60 days of winner confirmation.

Grand Prize — This is a contest of skill, not chance. The Michigan Rider with the highest overall REV Score at the close of the promotion wins the 2026 Road Glide®. REV Score is the full picture: every mile validated, every keyword entered, every new dealership visited, and every mileage validation check-in all add up.

Tier I, II & III Shopping Sprees — Awarded to the three male and three female Michigan Riders with the most total Earned Miles. Unlike the Grand Prize, these rank on miles ridden alone — not the full REV Score.

Bonus Prize — The winner of the Grand Prize Motorcycle will also earn a $2000 in-store shopping spree if they have visited every participating Michigan Harley-Davidson dealership during the challenge.

If a customer hasn't registered for the national Let's Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes yet, they do so through the same QR code flow at your dealership. Here's how it works:

1
Customer scans your dealership QR code and selects the Let's Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes 2026 tab.
2
They complete the registration form: name, phone, email, date of birth, current odometer reading, and VIN. H.O.G.® membership number is optional but earns bonus eligibility.
3
An authorized dealership employee (a Validator) visually confirms the odometer reading and VIN on the motorcycle — this is the Initial Mileage Validation.
4
Done. The customer is registered in Let's Ride Challenge, opted into Ride Michigan, and earns 25 Engagement Credits on the spot for completing registration.

The REV Score is a customer's total competition score — Earned Miles plus all Engagement Credits earned through the activities below. The Michigan Grand Prize goes to the rider with the highest REV Score. The more ways a customer engages, the stronger their score.

Earned Miles
Miles ridden
Documented through mileage validations. No cap on total miles — every mile counts.
Mileage Validations
20 credits each
Up to 64 validations (1,280 credits max). Limit 3 per day per location.
Weekly Keywords
10 credits each
Available through participating dealers as part of Let's Ride Challenge. Up to 96 total.
New Dealer Visits
5 credits each
Earned once per dealership — the first time a customer visits a participating location.
Registration Bonus
25 credits
One-time award at initial registration and first mileage validation.

After registering, customers return to any participating dealership to have their mileage validated. A Validator visually confirms the current odometer reading and VIN. This documents new Earned Miles and earns the customer 20 Engagement Credits per validation.

Customers are limited to 3 mileage validations per day per location and can earn credits on up to 64 total validations during the promotion. Validations beyond that cap no longer earn credits but are still required to document progression into higher tiers — so customers should keep getting validated even after hitting the credit max.

Customers can check their current miles and tier anytime by texting MYMILES to 302-246-7433 (302-2-GO-RIDE). Message and data rates may apply.

Weekly keywords are part of the Let's Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes national program — not the Ride Michigan opt-in. Each week, new keywords are made available through participating dealerships. Customers visit the dealership, get the keyword, and enter it into the Let's Ride Challenge app for 10 Engagement Credits.

Up to 96 keywords are available across the full promotion period. No purchase is required. Each keyword can only be used once per rider.

Yes. The first time a customer visits any participating dealership, they earn 5 Engagement Credits. This is a one-time credit per location — repeat visits to the same dealership don't earn additional first-visit credits. But customers who ride to multiple H-D dealerships earn credits for each new one they visit, so encouraging customers to make the trip to other Wisconsin stores genuinely helps their score.
No — limit one prize per person. Additionally, if a customer wins and accepts any prize in this promotion, they will not be eligible to win any other prize valued over $600 through any Mighty Loud or Harley-Davidson promotion for 13 months following confirmation. Customers may choose to decline their prize to preserve eligibility in other promotions.
Yes. The winner is responsible for applicable taxes, tag, title, license, registration, setup costs, insurance, and any dealer preparation fees not included in the prize. These vary by state and county. The winner must also hold a valid driver's license in the relevant class and provide proof of insurance at delivery.
